GIC Re Board announces appointment of new Executive Directors

General Insurance Corporation Limited has announced the appointment of two new Executive Directors on the Board.

As per the exchange filing information, the Ministry of Finance has conveyed that the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved proposal of Department of Financial Service for appointment of:

 1. Shri Hitesh Ramesh Chandra Joshi currently General Manager in the Corporation, to the post of Executive Director on the Board of the Corporation with effect from the date of assumption of office and upto the date of his attaining the age of superannuation (i.e. 30.09.2028), or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and

2. Ms. Radhika C. S. currently General Manager in United India Insurance Company Limited, to the post of Executive Director on the Board of the Corporation with effect from the date of assumption of office and upto the date of her attaining the age of superannuation (i.e. 30.06.2025), or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mr. Hitesh Joshi, Executive Director is a post-graduate in Accountancy from Mumbai University, Shri Hitesh R. Joshi, holds Masters in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is also a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He has handled various assignments in the organisation.
