GE Power India bags purchase order from NTPC Limited
It is mentioned that the order shall be executed over a period of 9.5 months, and the base value of the order is Rs 18.71 million with an additional 18 per cent GST.
New Delhi: The leading energy player in the country, GE Power India Limited today on July 8, 2024 received a purchase order from state-owned Public sector company NTPC Limited to Supply of Main Turbine Spares at NTPC Talcher, the company mentioned in its regulatory filling.
It is mentioned that the order shall be executed over a period of 9.5 months, and the base value of the order is Rs 18.71 million with an additional 18 per cent GST, the filing said.

GE Power India Limited has strong capabilities in engineering, manufacturing, project management and supply of products and solutions for infrastructure. Its operations include a composite range of activities viz. engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and servicing etc. of power plants and power equipment. It has engineering centres in Noida and Kolkata and manufacturing unit dedicated to Boilers in Durgapur.
