Former Chairman Coal India praised WCL Digital Connect

New Delhi: Innovative PR initiatives taken by WCL were praised and attracted a lot of apparition from a top professional & former CMD of Coal India Sh. Sutirtha Bhattacharya at PRCI platform during the 16th Global Communications Conclave by PRCI at Kolkata recently in presence of Chairman Emeritus of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Sh. M B Jayaram and a large number of leading PR and Communication professionals.

Western Coalfields Limited  ( a subsidiary of Coal India Limited) started two innovative and unique in-house audio-visual Public Relations initiatives named WCL Samvad and WCL Jyoti during the last year in 2021. Both new initiatives have successfully not only enhanced the image of WCL amongst the internal stakeholders. These in-house productions are being carried out without any financial load every week.

Sh. Sutirtha Bhattacharya, Former Chairman of Coal India Limited praised the WCL for this innovative PR tool and personally congratulated and felicitated Shri. Asheesh Tayal, Manager of Public Relations, WCL, has actualised the idea of connecting WCL working professionals with the WCL Family directory through Digital connect and successfully attracted a lot of fans following in the WCL family. Shri Tayal is also active in professional bodies namely the Nagpur Chapter of PRCI and also holds the position of State Head of Maharashtra and Chapter Chairman of the Nagpur Chapter.
