EIL organised vendor meet for the use of GeM
GeM (Government e-Marketplace) has been created for the facilitation of online procurement of common-use goods and services required by Government Departments/ Organizations/ PSUs.

New Delhi: As part of EIL’s commitment towards self-reliant, Atmanirbhar Bharat, a vendor meet was organised for encouraging the use of GeM for participation in procurement processes. Director(C), Mr Atul Gupta, highlighted the commitment of EIL towards carrying forward this flagship initiative of the Government of India.
GeM (Government e-Marketplace) has been created for the facilitation of online procurement of common-use goods and services required by Government Departments/ Organizations/ PSUs.
It aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement. It provides the tools of e-bidding, reverses e-auctions and demand aggregation to facilitate the government users, to achieve the best values for their money.
