NEW DELHI-  Engineers India Limited, in collaboration with Team NRL and IAVL, has achieved a major milestone in the Paradip-Numaligarh Crude Pipeline (PNCPL) project. The team completed the first major reinforced concrete cement (RCC) pour of 3050 cubic meters in a single pour, for the crude tank pad at the COIT Paradip project site.

The PNCPL project involves the construction of a crude oil import terminal with a capacity of 6 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) at Paradip, Odisha.

To transport imported crude oil, a cross-country pipeline spanning around 1,630 kilometers is being laid from Paradip to Numaligarh.

The successful completion of the RCC pour is a significant achievement for the project, as it required meticulous planning, execution, and coordination among the teams involved. The pour was completed in 47 hours, showcasing the teams' expertise in handling large-scale construction projects.

Commenting on the achievement, a spokesperson for Team EIL said, "We are thrilled to have completed this major milestone in the PNCPL project.
