EIL CMD flagged off Swachhta Pathgamini, a shuttle bus service

New Delhi: Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD of Engineers India Limited (EIL), flagged off the Swachhta Pathgamini, a shuttle bus service with a customized swachhta message to spread the message of cleanliness and hygiene. The bus will ply between EIL's headquarters in New Delhi and its Gurugram complex.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Ms. Shukla said that the Swachhta Pathgamini is a small but significant step towards realizing the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhyan, the cleanliness campaign launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. She said that EIL is committed to creating a clean and healthy environment for its employees and the communities in which it operates.

The Swachhta Pathgamini is equipped with a number of features to promote cleanliness and hygiene. These include:

• A customized swachhta message that is displayed on the exterior of the bus
• A water purifier and hand sanitizer dispenser on board
• A dedicated area for waste disposal
• The bus will also make regular stops at designated locations where employees and members of the public can dispose of their waste properly.

In addition to launching the Swachhta Pathgamini, Ms. Shukla also distributed hygiene kits to members of the local community. The kits contained items such as soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Ms. Shukla urged the community members to use the kits and to keep their surroundings clean.

The Swachhta Pathgamini is a welcome initiative by EIL. It is a small but important step towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
