EIL & HRRL Power Up: Rajasthan Refinery Takes Major Step with 220 kV Switchyard Commissioning
The activity was achieved under a final charging milestone by energizing the 220 kV double bus, Power Transformers and 66 kV GIS with available one no. incoming 220 kV line of RVPNL from Balotra, 220 kV grid.
New Delhi: The leading Engineering Consultancy and EPC company, Engineers India Limited along with HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Ltd. (HRRL) achieved a major milestone in the Rajasthan Refinery Project with the successful commissioning of the 220 kV switchyard.

The system is operated through a substation automation system (SAS) from the control room in the substation.
