EET Hydrogen, ENKA partner to deliver large scale low carbon hydrogen production plant (HPP1)
Essar Energy Transition has signed an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract with global engineering and construction firm ENKA Inaat ve Sanayi A.S. to deliver the HPP1 hydrogen production plant, based at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
HPP1 is a groundbreaking project and a cornerstone of the HyNet Cluster, with a production capacity of 350MW and the ability to capture 600,000 tonnes of CO? annually - equivalent to taking 250,000 cars off the road.
This is a major step forward in our mission to deliver 4GW of low carbon hydrogen capacity, decarbonizing industrial operations across the North West, protecting thousands of jobs, and driving economic growth.
