24 Eco Parks Developed by Coal India & its Subsidiaries, said Coal Minister
No fund has been allocated by the Government for the maintenance of these parks.

New Delhi: Union Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi today in Lok Sabha said twenty-four Eco Parks developed by Coal India and its Subsidiaries in different parts of the country.
The subsidiaries included Eastern Coalfields Ltd, South Eastern Coalfields Ltd., Western Coalfields Ltd., Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd., Northern Coalfields Ltd., Central Coalfields Ltd., Bharat Coking Coal Ltd., North Eastern Coalfields.
However, it is also mentioned that no fund has been allocated by the Government for the maintenance of these parks. Expenditure on maintenance and upkeep of parks are funded by respective coal companies.
