New Delhi: Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy was set up with a mandate to spearhead the development of indigenous electronics in the country. ECIL is proud to have introduced many firsts in electronics to the nation. Ranging from miniature components to complex systems and encompassing Instrumentation, Communication and Computer technologies, ECIL today is a multiproduct, multi-disciplinary organization providing cutting-edge technology solutions to discerning users in strategic sectors such as Defence, Atomic Energy, Aerospace, Electronic Security, Telecommunications, IT & e-Governance.

ECIL is Celebrating the 55th year of formation Day. On this occasion, ECIL has organised Sports competitions for ECIL employees and their family members. Rear Admiral Sanjay Chaubey (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director, was Chief Guest and Shri Samir Mukherjee, Director (Personnel) was Guest of Honour. The program has been attended by Senior Executives of ECIL, Shri GVRV Prasaad, General Secretary, ECIL Staff & Workers Union (S&WU), Shri Y Karunanidhi, Secretary, ECIL Officers Association and Deva Krishna Mangam, Secretary, Welfare Fund Committee (WFC), ECIL.

C&MD has expressed in his address that, ECIL has been established for Self-Reliance in the field of Strategic Electronics. ECIL has achieved many milestones in developing Strategic Electronics and manufacture towards the field of Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Security and eGovernance. ECIL is executing many projects that will help country in achieving “ATMA NIRBHAR BHARAT “in the field of Strategic Electronics.
