DVC observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2022

Kolkata: The observation of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 commenced at DVC Headquarters on 31.10.2022 with the administration of the Integrity pledge to the employees by the Chief Vigilance Officer, DVC.  

A seminar was organized on the same day with the theme of this year’s VAW, “Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation.” The seminar was addressed by the Chief Guest Smt. Arundhati Mukherjee, DG (Retd.), IPoS. The Chairman, the Chief Vigilance Officer and the Members deliberated upon the need to transform DVC into a corruption free transparent organization. 

Throughout the week, several competitions like quiz, debate, slogan writing etc. were organized for the employees to make them aware of this year’s theme of “Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation”. Drawing competitions for the wards of DVC employees and for a nearby community school were also organized at DVC Towers as a part of outreach activities.

Vendor Meets were organized all across the valley wherein vendors were provided with a platform to directly interact with the DVC authorities one-on-one basis. 

DVC also organized a CONSUMER MEET 2022,as a part of the Vigilance Awareness Week,  for its esteemed consumers of Jharkhand at Dhanbad on 04.11.2022. The Board Members and senior executives of DVC attended the meet. An open forum was organized wherein the consumers could directly address their pent up issues to the DVC authorities and many such issues were resolved in this platform. 

The concluding ceremony of VAW was held at DVC Kolkata on 07.11.2022 wherein an inspirational talk on Organizational Behaviour and Core Leadership and Ethics was delivered by the eminent faculty, Professor Chetan Joshi , IIM Calcutta .

The weeklong event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the various contests organized on this occasion.
