Dr. Uttam Sapate joined as Executive Director, EdCIL
New Delhi: Dr. Uttam Sapate has joined as the new Executive Director (Corporate Planning) EdCIL. Dr. Uttam Sapate is an Electronics and telecommunications engineer from Government College of Engineering, Pune with MTech (APE) from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His qualification includes MBA (Finance) from JNTU, Hyderabad with Ph.D. (Business Administration) from Aligarh Muslim University.
He started his career as Management Trainee with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. and served as Deputy Manager in Avionics production at Hyderabad for about 7 years. Further for about 2 years, he served Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd., New Delhi as Deputy Manager in the role of Project Technical officer in the Wind Energy division. Subsequently, for more than 10 years he worked in different projects and at different locations in India and abroad with Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. Worked in tendering telecom project execution, and United Nations procurement at locations from India, Sri Lanka, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also has academic experience of more than 10 years in the capacity of approved Professor of Finance and Director with prestigious management Institutes from Pune.
He is a constant learner with many NISM certifications to his credit with accreditation from SEBI as a commodities derivatives trainer. He is a fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and an accredited GST trainer from NACIN. He accepts challenges and enjoys working in different domains using his multidisciplinary knowledge and experience.
EdCIL Limited is a Public Sector Undertaking in India under the administrative control of the Ministry of Education, India.
