The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd hosted Joint Meetings of UITP’S Automated Metro Platform and Operation Platform from 9th to 12th September 2024.UITP is 'International association of public transport' which brings together public transport professionals from across the world.
The agenda of the meeting was to address several critical topics including smart Metro systems, examining the integration of advanced technologies to enhance efficiency and passenger experience, use of Artificial Intelligence in operations, exploring innovative safety measures to prevent injuries and improve passenger safety.
The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Vikas Kumar Managing Director, DMRC, Mr. Normen Wiegand, Head of Metro Operating Unit-Hamburger Hochbahn AG & Chair-UITP Operations Platform, Mr. Claudio Cassarino, Managing Director, Metro Service A/S & Chair-UITP Automated Metros Platform.
