The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) on Republic Day, January 26 2023 achieved a major milestone in the Patna Metro project by erecting the first ever U-Girder between two piers near Bhoothnath Station on the priority corridor.

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) on Republic Day, January 26 2023 achieved a major milestone in the Patna Metro project by erecting the first ever U-Girder between two piers near Bhoothnath Station on the priority corridor.
A total of 308 such U-girders are planned to be erected in priority corridor while each structure weighs around 160 tonnes. The elevated section of priority corridor will have five stations, namely, Malahi Pakri, Khemni Chak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile and Patliputra Bus Terminal.
