Construction activities resumed at NTPC Telangana
Ramagundam: Following discussion on May 03, 2020 among Peddapalli District Collector, Ramagundam MLA, Ramagundam Police Commissioner, NTPC Management led by ED-Ramagundam & Telangana Shri Raj Kumar and other senior officials from Revenue, Police and local administration, construction activities at NTPC-Telangana Project resumed on May 04, 2020. All guidelines related to construction activities and confidence building measures were put at site so that contract workers feel the normalcy.
Contract workers started entering the plant as per staggered two-sift of timing, maintaining social distancing, thermal screening, medical checkup, use of mask, follow-up of personal hygienic norms and sanitization of work place and others.
Construction activities at Telangana project was put on hold following nationwide Lockdown on March 25 to fight against pandemic Coronavirus.
