Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi chairs meeting to discuss future plan of Kallidalu constituency
New Delhi: The government's transparent policies led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reflects the growth of the constituency over the past 10 years. At this time, stone production from auctioned and allocated blocks has shown unprecedented growth by about 133%, reaching 122.7 MT in 2024, said Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi.
He chaired a meeting with Kallidalu ministry officials to discuss the future plan of Kallidalu constituency. 2047 guidelines were discussed in this meeting to build the dream evolved India. Conducting regular and transparent auctions, emphasizing underground mining, sustainable initiatives and stone-to-migration strategy to move the field forward.

Strategizing For the Future: Reflecting on the growth of the coal sector in the last 10 years owing to the transparent policies of the Govt led by PM Shri Narendra Modi. During this time, coal production from auctioned and allocated blocks have shown a stellar growth of almost 133%, to reach 122.7 MT in FY23.
In this regard, chaired a meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India to deliberate on the future plan for the coal sector. Roadmap for 2047 was discussed in this meeting in order to build the Viksit Bharat of our dreams.
Emphasised conducting regular and transparent auctions, promotion of underground mining, sustainable initiatives and coal evacuation strategy to take the sector forward.
