Coal Indians to prevent sexual harassment at workplaces

New Delhi: Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel & IR), Coal India, administered the pledge to prevent sexual harassment at the workplace to the employees at the company’s Corporate Office in Kolkata. Shri Debasish Nanda, Director of business Development), CIL, Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director of marketing), CIL and Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer, CIL, were present on the occasion.

Shri Ranjan also led a walkathon organized to spread awareness to prevent sexual harassment as a part of the ongoing “Sexual Harassment at Workplace Prevention Week.” Coal India is observing the Week in the run-up to, 9th December 2023, the date of the adoption of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act, 2013.
