Coal India Ltd organised a Free Health Check-up Camp
Kolkata; Coal India Ltd. organised a ‘Free Health Check-up Camp’ at ‘Rohini’, CIL’s residential complex in Kolkata. The camp was organised for contract workers, domestic helps and underprivileged people living around the complex. The camp was organised with an aim to bring about awareness amongst the deprived and underprivileged as basic checkups can identify underlying illnesses.
Over 119 patients consulted the CIL medical team comprising of Dr. Nandini De, Chief of Medical Services, CIL, Dr. Samita Paul Banerjee, Medical Superintendent, CIL & Dr. Debjit Paul, Medical Superintendent, CIL. Blood Pressure and blood sugar levels were checked and free medicines were distributed, enabling them to overcome illness, if any.
