Coal India CMD visits North Eastern Coalfields in Margherita, Assam
Coal India Chairman Shri P.M. Prasad visited the North Eastern Coalfields (NEC) in Margherita, Assam, where he inspected operations at the Tikak and Tirap mines. During his visit, he reviewed NEC's performance and met with trade union leaders. Shri Prasad also attended the opening ceremony of the ‘9th Krida Mahotsav’ at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, NEC.
He was accompanied by Shri Alok Lalit Kumar, Executive Director and Technical Secretary to the Chairman, Shri K. Mere, General Manager of NEC, and other senior management members. The operations of NEC are overseen by the CIL corporate office in Kolkata.
