NEW DELHI- CMPDI's, RI-IV, Nagpur under CSR inks an MoA with Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chhindwara for “Conducting 4 months Short Term Certificate Programme in Footwear Design & Production” to 100 underprivileged/ unemployed/ underemployed youth from Maharashtra state through FDDI.
The project is being funded by CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur for 100 beneficiaries in two batches and has approved Rs. 82.60 Lakhs for the said training program under its CSR for F.Y. 2022-24.
The said MoA has been exchanged between Shri Manoj Kumar, Regional Director, RI-IV, Nagpur and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mandal, Center In-charge, FDDI, Chhindwara. On this occasion CSR team from RI-IV and other officers from FDDI were present.
FDDI has been granted the status of an Institute of National Importance (INI) under the FDDI Act 2017 and is one of the premier academic and training institution under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
