CMD PFC, Parminder Chopra get additional charge of CMD REC Limited
Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD of Power Finance Corporation Ltd., gets an additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of REC Ltd. for three months or until further orders.
New Delhi: Smt. Parminder Chopra, who is currently holding the Charge of India's public sector company engaged in infrastructure finance activities today on March 20 gets the additional charge of REC Limited CMD. The government in an official letter, assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director, REC Ltd to Smt. Parminder Chopra, CMD, Power Finance Corporation Ltd. with immediate effect in addition to her existing duties and functions i.e. CMD, Power Finance Corporation Ltd.
She will hold the REC CMD Charge for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

About Parminder Chopra- CMD, Power Finance Corporation Ltd- Additional charge of CMD, REC Ltd
Smt. Parminder Chopra is holding the position of CMD, PFC w.e.f. August 14, 2023. Previously, she held the position of Director (Finance), PFC since July 1, 2020. She has over 35 years of varied experience in Power and Financial Sector. In PFC, she was heading key finance functions including resource mobilization (domestic & international markets), banking, treasury, asset liability management and stressed asset resolution. Her prior experience includes service in power sector majors like NHPC Limited and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
Smt. Chopra holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University and is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management. She has attended advanced programmes on Risk Management and Global Management in world renowned institutes i.e. Harvard University, USA and European School of Management.
