CIL Organises Awareness Campaign
New Delhi: Plastic bags don’t biodegrade, they ‘photodegrade’ – breaking down into smaller and smaller toxic bits and can take between 400 to 1,000 years to break down in the environment.
In order to educate children about the environmental and health costs we pay for the convenience of using plastic products, CIL in it’s Sonepur Bazari Area of Eastern Coalfields Ltd. organised an Inter School essay and drawing competition at Bahula Sishu Samiti High School and the winners of the contests were felicitated.
