CIL Foundation Day Celebrations
New Delhi: Coal India’s 45th Foundation Day Celebrations at its corporate office began with Shri. Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, CIL paying floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial. He later unfurled the CIL flag and along with Functional Directors of CIL felicitated the ex-board level executives and dignitaries. Shri. Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, CIL delivered the welcome address and he highlighted the importance of CIL in India’s economy.
Shri. N.C. Jha, former Chairman CIL, delivered the J.G. Kumaramangalam lecture. Dr. M.P. Narayanan, former Chairman, CIL and Guest of Honor spoke on the occasion.
Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan, Dr. E. Sreedharan fondly known as the “Metro Man” of India, kept the audience spellbound with his speech. He shared his experiences while at Konkan Railways and Delhi Metro and the importance of integrity & dedication.Dr. E. Sreedharan also congratulated Chairman, CIL and team CIL for the contribution made by CIL to the Indian economy.
CIL launched the CPRMSE – Medical card. The first card was handed over to Dr. M.P. Narayanan.Individual achievement awards were given away on the occasion by Dr. E. Sreedharan, Shri. Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, CIL, Shri. N.C. Jha, former Chairman, CIL and Dr. M.P. Narayanan, former Chairman, CIL.
