CIL, ED (Coordination) M.K Singh visits Wani area of WCL
New Delhi: The Executive Director (Coordination) of Coal India Limited, Shri M.K Singh on June 11 visited the Wani area. He took stock of the ongoing mining work in the area and made necessary suggestions.
During his visit, he reached Penganga, Kolgaon, Mongolia, Neeljai, and Naigaon open mines and inquired about the mining operations there.
He also inspected the ongoing First Mile Connectivity Project at Mungoli Mine and gave suitable instructions. During this visit, the Regional General Manager Mr. U A Kavle and General Manager (Mining) Shri S. G Vairagade were present with them.
Western Coalfields Limited is one of the 8th Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited (CIL) which is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal. WCL has been conferred "Miniratna" status on 15th March 2007. The Company has contributed about 7.02% of the national coal production from 2015 to 16.
