Chairperson of Central Electricity Authority visits DVC

NEW DELHI- The Chairperson and ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India, Central Electricity Authority, Shri Ghanshyam Prasad attended a talk session at DVC Headquarters Kolkata on 16.12.2022.

He was welcome and felicitated by the Member Technical and the Member Secretary, DVC. The session was attended by the Executive Directors, the Additional Secretary and senior executives of DVC. 

Shri Prasad discussed at length about the various operational aspects in DVC and highlighted on the areas of innovation and improvement. He emphasized on the need for setting up a strong Market Portfolio Management Team for capturing the consumer base, a resilient Regulatory team and an efficient Think Tank for research and development in DVC.

Through his talk, Shri Prasad motivated the younger generation and encouraged them to come out of the superior-subordinate mental structure and enumerated upon the significance of self-introspection for realization of one’s share of contribution to the organization. He applauded DVC for being one of the very few organizations globally to handle multi-faceted operations in an integrated manner.
