New Delhi: The Chairman and Managing Director of Central Coalfields Limited Dr.B. Veera Reddy visited Magadha- Sanghamitra, Piparwar and Amrapali and Chandragupta areas and inspected coal production, dispatch and OB removal.

Shri Reddy interacted with the personnel and encouraged them. Senior officers of these areas were present on the occasion.
Magadha-Sanghamitra, Piparwar, Amrapali, and Chandragupta are all coal mining areas in India located in the state of Jharkhand, which is in the eastern part of the country. These areas are all part of the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), which is a government-owned coal mining company

It is located in the Giridih district of Jharkhand. Piparwar is the second-largest coal mining area in CCL, with an annual production capacity of 60 million tonnes. It is located in the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.
Amrapali and Chandragupta are smaller coal mining areas, with annual production capacities of 30 million tonnes and 20 million tonnes, respectively. They are both located in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand.
