BRO, IOCL holds Meet on Northeast India Road Infrastructure
The partnership seeks to streamline the construction and upkeep of roads and fuel supply chains.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) recently convened to address critical road infrastructure projects in Northeast India.
The meeting focused on improving connectivity and enhancing logistical support in the region.
The primary goal is to improve road connectivity in the Northeast, vital for economic development and strategic security and the partnership seeks to foster the construction and upkeep of roads and fuel supply chains.
The discussion covered planning and implementing new road projects and upgrading existing infrastructure, aiming to enhance access to remote areas and stimulate regional economic activity.
