New Delhi: BPCL takes a big stride towards a holistic rural upliftment in the aspirational district of Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, with "Integrated Rural Upliftment Project."

The project has a number of initiatives that will help the people living in Gadchiroli transform their lives.

The Lakhpati Kisan Project is for 1000 farmers to thrive, earning over 1 lakh per annum. With the Malguzari Tank Project, about 100 ex-malguzari tanks have been deepened to ensure second-crop irrigation for sustainable agriculture.

The Wash in School project is building 50 clean and safe school toilets; alongside an informative campaign, the Parag Library Project is setting up 50 libraries in ZP schools, providing a world of multi-lingual books to young minds.

Along with this, the Rice Fortification Project focuses on fighting anaemia by delivering 420 tonnes of fortified rice and creating an LPG-based Central Kitchen that serves nutritional and wholesome meals to those who need it most.
