Bhopal-Delhi: Vande Bharat train coach catches fire

Bhopal: A fire broke out in the Vande Bharat train going from Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati Railway Station to Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. Vande Bharat train left from Rani Kamalapati station at 5:40 am on Monday morning. 

Vande Bharat was between Kurwai Kaithora station before Bina railway station, when smoke was seen rising from one side of the C-14 coach. The loco pilot stopped the Vande Bharat train by taking it to Kurwai Kaithora station.

Information about the fire was given to the railway staff posted at the station. After this, the railway staff and villagers present at the railway station tried to extinguish the fire. After the information about the fire, there was a stir among the passengers of the entire Vande Bharat train including C-14. 

However, all the passengers were safely taken out of the coach amidst huge chaos. There were 36 passengers on board the C-14 when it caught fire. The fire incident took place after 7 am. No passengers have been harmed. After the fire, due to smoke filling in the coach, some passengers have definitely had breathing problems for a while. The fire has been brought under control within a few minutes. Now senior railway officials are also reaching the spot.
