BHEL undertake the development of mono and multi silicon solar cell
New Delhi: BHEL has undertaken the development of high-efficiency solar cells using Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) technology at a pilot-scale which shall be commercially deployed for production of higher efficiency solar cells.
The project includes the development of mono and multi-Si Solar cells with efficiencies of 21% and 19 % respectively and shall be commercially deployed for the production of higher efficiency Solar cells/ modules.
R&D project on the development of Passivated Silicon Heterojunction (PIHJ) Solar Cells with 21 % efficiency is also under progress.
