BHEL organised its 7th Research and Development Advisory Council Meeting

New Delhi: BHEL organised its 7th Research and Development Advisory Council (RDAC) Meeting under the Chairmanship of Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The meeting was attended by Member Niti Aayog, Dr. V.K.Saraswat alongwith other distinguished scientists and dignitaries from CSIR, DRDO, BARC, DST, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Coal, Indian Navy, IIT Roorkee, NTPC, NPCIL, PGCIL, Indian Railways, CEA. Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD BHEL, Functional Directors and senior officials of the company were also a part of the meeting.

The meeting delved on the R&D progress made by the company and gave guidance on long-term R&D strategies, focus areas to be taken up for R&D from a national perspective, and new horizons of research.
