BHEL CMD Inaugurates 5MW Solar Plant at Bhopal unit

This solar photovoltaic power plant will generate 79 lakh kW of electricity annually resulting in a saving of about Rs.5.5 Crore per annum.

Bhopal: Dr. Nalin Shinghal, Chairman and Managing Director of BHEL inaugurated a 5 MW Solar Plant at the company’s Bhopal unit. On the occasion, Dr. Shinghal said that environment protection is of utmost importance today and BHEL is committed to the protection and conservation of the environment in all facets of its operations.

Significantly, spread over an area of 20 acres, this solar photovoltaic power plant will generate 79 lakh kW of electricity annually resulting in a saving of about Rs.5.5 Crore per annum.
