BEL developed lighter version Weapon Locating Radar
New Delhi: The lighter and compact version of Weapon Locating Radar, known as SWATHI Mountains, developed indigenously by Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) along with LRDE, DRDO, has been inducted into the Indian Army.

Chief of Army Staff (CD&S) flagged off the state-of-the-art RADAR system designed for use in mountainous and high-altitude terrains yesterday in Agra, in the presence of Mr Manoj Kumar, Executive Director (National Marketing), and Mr Rajnish Sharma, General Manager (Military Radars SBU), BEL.
