BEE signed MoU with SIDBI for MSME Sector
New Delhi: Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) on 3rd Nov. 2022 to promote energy efficiency financing for MSMEs and exploring IoT-based solutions, Greening MSMEs, capacity building of various stakeholders, etc.
SIDBI acts as the principal financial institution for the promotion, financing and development of MSMEs.
Besides direct financing, it is also a project executing agency for Partial Risk Sharing Facility (PRSF) that guarantees energy efficiency projects.
