BCPL Celebrated 13th Foundation Day

New Delhi: 13th Foundation Day of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) was celebrated in the Administrative Building, BCPL Petrochemical Complex at Lepetkata, Dibrugarh on 8th January 2019. Shri A K Singh, Managing Director, BCPL graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director ( Finance), Shri P Nagesh, Chief Operating Officer and Shri Reep Hazarika, Chief General Manager ( Operation & Maintenance ) were present on the occasion.

 

The programme commenced with welcome speech by Shri Asit Das, General Manager (HR) followed by a ceremonial cake cutting by the Managing Director accompanied by senior officials of the company. An award ceremony was also organised to acknowledge the contribution of employees who completed ten years of service in BCPL. Total 17 (Seventeen) employees from the first batch of Graduate Engineering Trainees/ Executive Trainees who joined in the year 2009 were felicitated with a citation by the Managing Director on the occasion.

 

The event concluded with speech of Shri A K Singh, Managing Director wherein he extended warm wishes on the occasion of Foundation Day & New Year to all the employees & associates. He appreciated the efforts & contributions of employees and stakeholders for their unflinching support towards company’s growth. The Managing director expressed his satisfaction on achievement of various millstones over the years and said that BCPL needs to grow with capacity expansion and debottlenecking.The event was also observed in BCPL Lakwa and Duliajan Unit along with Guwahati Office.
