B P Singh selected for post of CMD NALCO
According to official sources, the post is to fall vacant on November 1, 2024 as the incumbent CMD Sridhar Patra will be retiring on October 31, 2024.
The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has selected Brijendra Pratap Singh for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO); a Schedule ‘A’ Central PSU.
A total of six people were interviewed. Currently, Singh is posted as Director in-charge (Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plant), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval he will replace Sridhar Patra who is scheduled to retire on 31.10.2024.
