Arun Kumar Singh appointed as ONGC Chairman and MD
Accordingly, Arun Kumar assumed the charge of the post of Chairman on December 7, 2022.
New Delhi: Former Chairman of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Shri Arun Kumar Singh is now the Chairman and managing director of the central public sector undertaking ONGC.
The appointment of Shri Arun Kumar is for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Accordingly, Arun Kumar assumed the charge of the post of Chairman on December 7, 2022.
Shri Arun Kumar Singh has headed various Business Units and Entities in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) viz. Retail, LPG, Pipelines and Supply Chain Optimization etc. He has rich experience of over 35 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Shri Arun Kumar Singh has also held the position of President (Africa & Australasia) in Bharat Petro Resources Ltd, a wholly owned Subsidiary of BPCL, engaged in exploration of Oil & Gas, largely overseas.
