Anil Vij takes over as Director Technical of RITES
New Delhi: Shri Anil Vij has taken over as Director (Technical) of RITES Limited, on November 4. Prior to his appointment as Director (Technical) of RITES Limited, he was serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.
Vij had joined RITES Limited in 2005 as General Manager. He has served as Director, Mechanical Engineering in the ministry of Railways from 1998 to 2003. His responsibilities included strategic planning and implementation for diesel locomotive maintenance and operations over Indian Railways, Transfer of Technology – Induction of EMD locomotive technology etc.
In June 2013 Vij got promoted as Group General Manager at RITES only and last year in July 2018 he had been promoted as Executive director.
