Shri Rana S. Chakravarty elected as Member of Executive Board of SCOPE
Ranchi/New Delhi: Shri Rana Subhasis Chakravarty, Director (Marketing), Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) has been elected as Member of the Executive Board of 'SCOPE' on 28th March 2019. Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE and entire Public Sector fraternity congratulated him on his selection. He was invited for 180th Executive Board Meeting of SCOPE on 1st April, 2019 at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi, where he was welcomed by DG, SCOPE and wished him for successful tenure and expressed his expectation for his presence will add further value in Promoting Excellence in Public Sector Enterprises.
Shri Rana Subhasis Chakravarty has assumed the charge of Director (Marketing) in Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited on 17th January 2018 and recently Department of Heavy Industries, GoI has entrusted the additional charge of the post of Director (Production), HEC on 07th January 2019.
Shri Rana Subhasis Chakravarty is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering with first class distinction, he pursued post graduation in Management [MBA (Marketing)] from BIT Mesra. He has more than 32 years of service experience in one of the premiere
engineering consultancy and contracting company, MECON.
As General Manager (Corporate Infrastructure Division), MECON, his responsibility spread over business procurement, engineering, project management, marketing, framing and execution of contract. He is also the recipient of Vishweshwaraya Gold
Medal from The Institution of Engineers (India). Presently, he is pursuing his PhD. in Management
