Shipyard successfully achieved production milestone on ships under construction at GRSE: CMD GRSE

New Delhi: Commemorating Independence Day of India and stressing on Shipyard's steady performance amidst pandemic, Real Admiral VK Saxena, IN (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director, GRSE stated, "The Shipyard has successfully achieved production milestone on ships under construction at GRSE including the launch of 1st ship of prestigious Advanced Frigate P17A Himgiri and export of SCG PS Zoroaster to Republic of Seychelles.

 

The shipyard also commissioned the 250 Ton Goliath Crane, a major contributor towards undertaking integrated shipbuilding, using advanced modular construction technology to boost production". 

 

He mentioned that the shipyard is taking export initiatives forward with an order for supply of 06 Patrol Boats to Bangladesh & 01 Oceangoing Passenger cum Cargo Ferry to Guyana. 

CMD reiterated that going forward, the new business strategies shall be aimed towards "Reform" & "Transform" to accelerate decision-making at GRSE.
