Sh Nand Lal Sharma CMD SJVN meeting with Her Excellency Indian Ambassador to Bhutan

Trashiyangtse : CMD, SJVN, Sh Nand Lal Sharma had a meeting with Her Excellency Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Ms Ruchira Kamboj, IFS, at Thimpu today. He apprised her about the progress of activities in execution of 600 MW Kholongchhu HEP, which SJVN is implementing through Kholongchu Hydro Energy Limited (KHEL), a Joint Venture of SJVN and Druk Green Power Company (DGPC).

 

600 MW Kholongchu Hydro Electric Project is situated in District Trashiyangtse of Bhutan. The project will generate 2567 million units of energy every year on commissioning. The enabling infrastructures such as access roads, construction power supply etc. have all been completed.
