R.N. Jha taken over as the CMD of MECL

NAGPUR: Shri R.N. Jha, Director (Technical), Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited has taken over the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director on 01.12.2017. MECL is a fully owned Miniratna CPSE of Ministry of Mines carrying out detailed exploration of various minerals. Shri Jha has been serving as the Director (Technical) of MECL since January 2012. He succeeded Dr. Gopal Dhawan, who served as CMD, MECL from May, 2012 to November 2017. 
Shri Jha is a Graduate Mining Engineer from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad (now IIT (ISM), Dhanbad) along with the first-class Certificate of Competency (Coal) & Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He has 32 years of rich experience in the field of planning and operation of opencast and modern underground coal mines, mineral exploration and environmental management.
Under his guidance & able leadership, it is expected that MECL will continue to rise further and attain newer heights.
