POWER Minister lauded NTPC efforts for keeping power costs under check
NEW DELHI. Shri R.K Singh, Hon'ble Minister of State (I/c), Power, New and Renewable Energy inaugurated NTPC's 45th Raising Day 2019 cultural program by lighting of ceremonial lamp. Shri S.N. Sahai Secretary (Power) and Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD were present.
NEW DELHI. Shri R.K. Singh congratulated NTPC employees for their consistent performance and urged the company to become a global player. He also lauded the company for keeping power costs under check by driving efficiencies even though coal prices had gone up.
Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD said we aim to become among three largest power utilities in the World. He also said NTPC is aiming to become 100 GW company in next 5 years.
Shri Saptarshi Roy, Director (HR), Shri A.K. Gupta, Director (Commercial), Shri S.K. Roy, Director (Projects), Shri Prakash Tiwari, Director (Operations), Shri A.K. Gautam, Director (Finance), Shri Rajit Punhani, CVO and Independent Directors were present. Smt. Shiela Singh, Smt Kiran Singh , Members of NTPC Ladies Clubs from various projects also graced the program.
