NCL Organises CSR Chaupaal at Singrauli

Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited organized a CSR Chaupaal to better assess the developmental requirements of the villages and track the ongoing CSR works.
 
On this occasion, MLA Singrauli Shri Ram Lallu Vaishya, Chairman of NCL CSR sub-committee Dr. S. M. Jharwal, , District Magistrate Singrauli Shri K.V.S.Chaudhary, Director (Technical/Operations) NCL Shri Gunadhar Pandey, Director (Finance & Personnel) Shri Nag Nath Thakur, Non-Official Part-time Director Prof.A.K.Agrawal, Shri.S.K.Maheshwari, Shri.B.B.Pandey and Smt.Ramilaben Bara, Sarpanch and villagers of 20 villages and councilors and residents of 5 wards of Singrauli Municipal Corporation were present.
 
During the discussion held in Chaupal, various aspects of rural development including construction of roads, drinking water, education and health, deepening of ponds, increasing irrigation facilities, employment, skill development were discussed. Villagers and sarpanches thanked NCL for the large-scale development work done by the company in their panchayats and wards.
 
Singrauli MLA and Collector thanked NCL for their special contribution in the development of the district and assured all possible cooperation in the implementation of the demands made by villagers in Chaupal.
 
Chairman of CSR Sub-Committee, Dr. S. M. Jharwal and Director (Finance & Personnel) Shri Nag Nath Thakur assured that the views of the villagers expressed in the Chaupal would be taken up by the NCL management in its CSR works.
 
The Baiga tribals of Birkunia Gram Panchayat staged 'Karama' dance. General Manager (CSR) of NCL, Shri Atmeshwar Pathak presented the summary of CSR works of the company. General Managers of NCL coal areas alongwith large number of officers and employees were present on this occasion.
