IRCON Provides free Vocational Training to Youth
Ranchi: Ircon International Ltd. (IRCON) has provided skill development training to 200 unemployed youth belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) under its CSR initiative. The vocational training programs were organized at Ranchi and Daltonganj in Jharkhand and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh through the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) under which candidates have imparted skills of electrician, plumber and land surveyor free of cost. The candidates were also provided the accommodation and other facilities under the program. After completion of the training, placement opportunities were provided all the candidates out of which 88 candidates were placed in various organizations while rest of them opted for self-employment.
