ICAI Conferred Excellent CA-CFO Award to Director Finance WCL
Nagpur: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in its 11th ICAI Awards, 2017 conferred Award for Excellent Performance & Achievement as CA CFO in the Public Sector undertaking to CA S. M. Choudhary, Director (Finance), WCL (a subsidiary of Coal India Limited). A glittering award function was held at Nehru Centre Mumbai on 19th January, 2018.
Hon'ble Cabinet Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, CA Suresh Prabhu was the Chief Guest of the Function. Hon'ble Minister presented the prestigious award to CA Choudhary in presence of CA Nilesh Vikamsey - President of ICAI and CA Naveen N. D. Gupta, Vice-president of ICAI.
ICAI is organising these Awards to recognize the distinguished efforts and exemplary achievements of the Members in Industry. These prestigious awards aim to honour the CFOs who have demonstrated excellence in the professional life and are the role models for others in Industry.
CA S M Choudhary is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant and qualified Company Secretary. He has also completed the certified course in IFRS and Indirect Taxes. He is having more than 30 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accountancy. This award was conferred to him for his exemplary work in the field of Finance and Sales & Marketing during the year 2017.
