EESL to Host Inspire 2019 With Focus on Energy Security and Sustainability

MUMBAI. In a bid to foster a conducive ecosystem for sustainable energy through innovation, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) a joint-venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, Government of India will host its flagship international event, ‘International Symposium to Promote Innovation & Research in Energy Efficiency’ (INSPIRE) from November 11 to 12, 2019, in Mumbai.Shri Sanjeev Nandan Sahai, Secretary, Ministry of Power will inaugurate the event.
 
The event will be co-hosted by the World Bank (WB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Resources Institute, India (WRI India) the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Israel. The two-day event will showcase and promote innovation and implementation of Futuristic Energy Efficiency Technologies, Policies and Financing Mechanisms.
 
Shri Saurabh Kumar, Managing Director, EESL said that for tapping into the immense potential of clean energy and energy efficiency, it is pivotal to involve experts, academia, industry and policy decision-makers.
 
“I firmly believe that INSPIRE 2019 will help cultivate vital cross-stakeholder partnerships, that will help spawn agile, protean and sustainable interventions. These future-ready ideas and solutions will facilitate faster adoption of new energy-efficient and clean energy technologies in India.”
