DFCCIL singed MoU with Construction of Road Over Bridges ROB
New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) was inked between DFCCIL, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Indian Railway Zones namely North Central Railway (13 ROBs), Northern Railway (8 ROBs) and East Central Railway (8 ROBs) on 03.10.2019. These 29 ROBs on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor will be built on a cost-sharing basis in UP. The Approach work for these ROBs will be done by UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd under the aegis of Government of UP. The construction of the ROBs will ensure stoppage-free road and rail movements at Level Crossings.
Sh Anshuman Sharma, Director/PP DFCCIL, Sh. Girijesh Kumar Tyagi, Special Secretary PWD, Government of UP and the various zones of Indian Railways represented by Sh. N.K.Jha Chief Engineer/RSW/ECR, Sh. Narendra Singh CBE/NCR and Sh V.P. Singh CBE/NR were the signatories.
