CMD NRDC Attended the 7th Edition of Indian Leaders Programe 2019 at Spain
New Delhi: The Secretary General of the Spain India Council Federation through Embassy of Spain in India invited Dr. H. Purushotham, CMD, National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) to attend the 7th Edition of Indian Leaders Programme 2019 as a part of the five members Indian delegation. The aim of the programme is to foster mutual understanding between India and Spain and promoting bilateral relations between both the countries. The Theme of the 7th Edition of Indian Leaders Programme is on Entrepreneurship and Startups.
The high level Indian Leaders attended the programme are from NRDC, FIIT, AGNII, BIRAC and EDII. The Indian Leaders interacted with the leaders, attended the structured round table meeting with the senior representatives of the Spanish Government, as well as business and social leaders of the Spanish Civil Society responsible for promoting Entrepreneurship and Startups in Madrid, Valladolid and Barcelona from 30th June to 5th July, 2019.
The delegation visited CDTI, Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Embassy of India in Spain, Madrid City Council DG of Entreprenures and SMEs, ACCIONA, Casa de la India, Barcelona Technology Park, Science Park, of University of Valladolid, Barcelona Activa, Barcelona Tech Centre, Mobile World Capital the Collider, Incubator and Entrepreneurship Centre, Sagarada Famila, Caixa Bank, Distrito 22@, Casa Asia, etc.
The Indian delegation had an excellent exposure to the Spain Entrepreneurship and Startup Eco-system and presented the key highlights of Government of India’s initiatives on Entrepreneurship and Startups which positioned India on the 2nd position on global startups eco-system map. The Indian delegation also noted that Spain has very successful public-private-partnership (PPP) models for promoting Entrepreneurship and Startups and also presented various partnership opportunities, Spain can have with India.
