CMD NHPC Launched EGCON 2021 Website

New Delhi: Indian Society of Engineering Geology (ISEG) in association with NHPC is organizing an International Conference on “Recent Advances in Geotechnics (EGCON 2021)” from 9-11 December 2021. Hon’ble CMD NHPC & President ISEG, Sh. A.K. Singh launched the website of the conference - www.egcon2021.com.

 

Sh. S.L. Kapil, Executive Director (Geotech) and Secretary, ISEG, welcomed the President. Sh. Harsh Singh, GM (Civil) & other council members were also present on this occasion. The Indian Society of Engineering Geology (ISEG) is the Indian National Group of the International Association for Engineering Geology and The Environment (IAEG). The IAEG is a global association and is represented by more than 55 countries.

 

The conference (EGCON 2021) shall provide a platform to deliberate upon recent developments in the field of Engineering Geology, Engineering Geophysics, Earthquake Engineering, Remote Sensing and other related areas. Apart from regular theme-based presentations and lectures by the speakers from different related fields such as smart city development, drone based investigations, advanced emerging investigation techniques, EGCON-2021 shall provide best opportunity to professionals in this field to listen and interact with the key-note speakers who will share their vast experience.

 

The conference is getting good response from the professional from India & abroad and, already received more than 55 abstracts for presentation. Some of the important key speakers, who have already sent their consent to address in the Conference are:
